Paraceratherium is an extinct hornless rhinoceros. It is one of the largest terrestrial mammals that has existed and lived from the early to the late Oligocene epoch (34–23 million years ago). The fossils were discovered in Eurasia between China and the Balkans. Paraceratherium means "near the hornless beast".
